Job summary

Lenviron Limited t/a Leinster Environmentals in Haggardstown, Co. Louth, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic for an immediate start.

The role requires 2-3 years of Plant Mechanic experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic knowledge. On-the-job training will be provided, and duties include maintenance and repair of plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of proven plant mechanic experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings/schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and service machinery used in plant hire and civils activities.
• Ensure plant machinery operates safely and with minimal downtime.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on mixers, conveyors, pumps, crushers, and batching systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and avoid breakdowns.
• Lubricate machinery and replace worn parts to keep equipment in good working order.
