Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy in Tralee is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a 40-hour, five-day permanent role. The store opens 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday and is closed on Sundays.

You will prepare and dispense medicinal products under Pharmacist supervision, manage stock levels, and assist with blister packs and claims processing. Reporting to the Pharmacist, you’ll support a busy dispensary.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare Pharmacy in Tralee.

This is a 40-hour (5-day) permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday.

The team currently comprises a Managing Pharmacist, 1 Support, and 3 Technicians.

This store has manageable items and services.
