Job summary

Uniphar Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our Allcare Ringsend store in Ireland. The role is a 30-hour permanent position with hours 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and closed on Sunday. The team includes a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, and two Technicians.

The successful candidate will dispense medicines under supervision, manage stock, and prepare blister packs in a fast-paced dispensary environment. Qualified or newly qualified techs are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Meticulous attention to detail when preparing and dispensing medications.
• Ability to work accurately under supervision of Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
• Capable of stock control and ordering medicines as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under Pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and place medicine orders as needed.
• Prepare blister packs and process/track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare Ringsend store.

This is a 30-hour permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday.

The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Support, 1 Relief, and 2 Technicians.

The Responsibilities Of The Role

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.
