Job summary

Unipharmedtech in Dublin's Ringesnd (Allcare Ringsend) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 30-hour permanent role. The position runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Saturday, with Sundays off.

Join a busy dispensary and assist the Pharmacist with dispensing, stock control, blister packs and claims processing. Training will be provided as needed and opportunities for progression may exist.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage; newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner
• Control stock levels and order medicines as determined by store requirements
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary
