Job summary

Uniphar, through Hickeys Drogheda Pharmacy, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our busy team.

The role is 16 hours over 2 days, with the store opening hours 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday. Duties include dispensing under supervision, stock control, blister packs and processing claims. Experience in a dispensary is welcome; training available. Benefits include competitive hourly rates, staff discount, bike scheme and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Pharmacy Technician – Hickeys Drogheda Pharmacy

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys Drogheda Pharmacy.

This is a 16-hour (2-day) permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday.

The team currently comprises a Store Manager, an Assistant Store Manager, 1 Relief Pharmacist, and 3 Technicians. This store has manageable items and services.
