Job summary
Uniphar Group in Tralee is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join McCauley Tralee Pharmacy. This is a 40-hour, five-day permanent role with store hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
You will dispense medicines under supervision, manage stock levels, prepare blister packs, and support the Pharmacist in a fast-paced dispensary environment. Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
Qualifications
- Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
- Experience with McLernons MPS is advantageous.
- IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
- To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
- Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
- Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
- Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
