Job summary

Uniphar’s Hickeys Drogheda Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 16-hour, 2-day-per-week position. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday, with Sunday closed. The role involves accurate dispensing under supervision, stock control, blister packs, and claims processing in a busy dispensary.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome; experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage. Competitive hourly rates and a bike-to-work scheme are offered in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage.
IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.
Newly qualified technicians welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
