Job summary

Tony Walsh Allcare Pharmacy in Merrion is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour work week on a permanent basis. The role involves accurately dispensing medicines under the supervision of the Pharmacist, maintaining stock levels, and supporting the dispensary team.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply; experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage, as is familiarity with McLernons MPS. Uniform is provided, and the store offers a bike-to-work scheme and colleague discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate is advantageous.
• Familiarity with McLernons MPS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicines under supervision of Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
