Job summary

Uniphar's Tony Walsh Allcare Pharmacy in Merrion, Dublin, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour permanent role. The store opens 9 a.m.–7 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and is closed on Sundays.

You will prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist, manage stock levels, order medicines, prepare blister packs and process claims, and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage.
• Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines.
• Prepare blister packs and process claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
