Job summary
Allcare Flynns Pharmacy in Ennis is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time role in a busy dispensary. The position involves accurately preparing and dispensing medicines under pharmacist supervision, managing stock levels, and forming blister packs for patient prescriptions.
Newly qualified technicians are welcome, with experience in a busy dispensary or with McLernons MPS considered advantageous. The team values reliability and attention to detail in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
- Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
- IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
- To prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
- Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
- Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
- Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
