Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Pharmaceutical Operations Co-Ordinator to support service delivery in a high-precision environment. You will schedule maintenance visits, coordinate vendors, and act as the on-site point of contact for customers in Ireland.

The role requires strong planning and communication skills, with experience using scheduling tools (SAP, Smart Sheet). You will work as an independent contractor, with an LTD arrangement and 12-month initial contract.

Qualifications

  • Third-level qualification (science background a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service visits for laboratory equipment.
  • Act as vendor host for onsite services and manage permits.
  • Be the primary customer contact for scheduling and operational queries.
  • Attend operational calls, customer meetings and manage a high volume of emails.
  • Manage customer assets and ensure inventories are accurate.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure completion of requests on time.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors for smooth operations.
  • Ensure RAMS/Certifications are collected and documented as needed.
  • Manage shipment and tracking of off-site instruments.
  • Upload vendor service reports to CMMS and close related work orders.
  • Follow gowning and PPE requirements in clean room areas.

Location: On-site at Pharmaceutical Operations Co-Ordinator

Location: On-site Carlow

Function: On-site at Dunboyne, Co. Meath.

Reporting to: Enterprise Scheduling Supervisor

Pay Rate: €25 Per Hour

Type of contract: LTD (can work via Umbrella company)

Initial contract length: 12 months

You will be the heartbeat of service delivery-ensuring engineers are scheduled efficiently, services run smoothly, and customers receive the highest level of support. You'll work in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment, collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors to keep operations running seamlessly.

What You'll Do
  • Service coordination; organizing maintenance visits for laboratory equipment.
  • Vendor hosting - support as the dedicated point of contact for onsite services, managing permits and supporting service engineers during service visits.
  • Customer POC - first point of contact for the customer for any scheduling or operational queries.
  • Attend operational calls, customer meetings and managing a high volume of emails.
  • Manage customer assets, ensuring inventories are accurate
  • Monitoring performance metrics ensuring maintenance and repair requests are completed within the timeframe agreed with customer, with minimum disruption to onsite activities.
  • Ability to work as a team player and demonstrate a passion for the role and customer satisfaction.
  • Schedule inductions and collate relevant documentation (RAMS/Certifications…)
  • Management shipment and tracking of off-site instruments.
  • Collation of vendor service reports and upload onto customer CMMS software. Closure of associated work orders
  • Following customer gowning and PPE requirements while operating in clean room areas and laboratories.
