Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Scheduling Co-Ordinator in a large pharmaceutical setting in Carlow. The role focuses on coordinating maintenance visits, acting as the main contact for customers, and supporting service engineers with on-site activities.

You will manage multiple stakeholders, maintain CMMS records, and ensure timely completion of requests while complying with clean-room protocols. This is an independent contractor role suitable for candidates based in Ireland with EU Passport

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification; science background a plus
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Experience with scheduling tools (SAP, Smart Sheet) preferred

Responsibilities

• Service coordination; organize maintenance visits for laboratory equipment
• Vendor hosting; manage permits and support service engineers on site
• Customer POC for scheduling or operational queries
• Attend operational calls and meetings; manage high email volume
• Monitor performance metrics to ensure requests are completed on time with minimal disruption
• Schedule inductions and collate documentation (RAMS/Certifications)
• Manage repair requests to minimize instrument downtime
• Track shipments of off-site instruments and close related work orders
• Ensure compliance with gowning and PPE in clean rooms and labs
