Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in mechanical/electrical/building services/related field.
• 5–10 years' experience in maintenance planning/scheduling in a regulated environment.
• Experience using a CMMS or EAMS system (Maximo, SAP PM, Infor EAM).
• Understanding preventive and corrective maintenance principles.
• Experience coordinating contractors and service providers.
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical/building services systems.
• Experience with Permit to Work systems.
• Excellent planning, organisation and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/regulated manufacturing environments and GMP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance across the site.
• Develop and optimise maintenance schedules within the CMMS.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, utilities and building services maintenance with engineering and operations.
• Schedule corrective maintenance with engineering and operations teams.
• Lead weekly team meetings and site area meetings.
• Ensure work orders are planned, resourced, and completed on schedule.
• Coordinate shutdowns, outages and contractor visits.
• Maintain asset, equipment, labour, spares, and maintenance data in the CMMS.
• Manage backlogs and support CMMS audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate subcontractor access, permits and compliance.
• Monitor contractor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Provide updates on open work orders to stakeholders.
• Support Permit to Work and ensure proper authorization for activities.
• Ensure documentation complies with ALCOA and client requirements.
• Act as final reviewer of maintenance activities.
• Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance reports.
• Track KPIs like preventive maintenance completion and CMMS compliance.
• Analyse maintenance trends to improve reliability, performance and cost efficiency.
• Support budget planning, resource forecasting, audits, risk assessments, safety observations.
