Job summary

Drogheda Brokerage is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Executive to manage a portfolio including home, motor, travel, private car and commercial vehicle clients. You’ll renew, re-market and negotiate with insurers, while turning daily new business enquiries into lasting client relationships.

Ideal candidates are APA qualified with at least 2 years’ personal lines broker experience, highly organised, and able to work independently within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• APA qualified with at least 2 years' personal lines experience in a broker environment
• Hands-on experience with Relay
• Highly organised with a tidy desk, good attention to detail and a calm head when things get busy
• A good communicator who listens to clients and puts their interests first
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a close team

Responsibilities

• Handle renewals with a focus on reviewing cover, re-marketing, negotiating with insurers and presenting clear recommendations to clients
• Turn daily new business enquiries into clients and manage each case from start to finish
• Work in a varied, fast-moving environment with substantial client contact and ownership of the case lifecycle

Our client is a well-established Drogheda brokerage. They're hiring a Personal Lines Account Executive to look after a portfolio of home, motor, travel, private car and commercial vehicle clients.

What the day looks like

You'll have a steady monthly flow of renewals to work through: reviewing cover, re-marketing, negotiating with insurers and presenting clear recommendations to clients. Alongside that, new business enquiries come in daily, and you'll be the one to turn them into clients. It's a varied, fast-moving role with plenty of client contact, and you'll see each case through from start to finish.

Who they're looking for
