Job summary

Cpl Healthcare seeks a Person in Charge (Social Care Leader) in Galway to oversee a wide range of community-based services for people with an intellectual disability. The role reports to the Assistant Director of Operational Supports & Services and ensures alignment with the organisation's strategic plan.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years in a management role, hold a level 7 degree in relevant fields, be registered with NMB, and possess strong budgeting, rostering and regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a management or supervisory role in health or social care.
• Current registration with NMB (NMB).
• Proven track record of managing a residential service meeting quality and regulatory requirements.
• Proven budget management experience.
• Experience of report writing, personal support plans, roster management.
• Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
• Excellent working knowledge of legislative/regulatory requirements.

Cpl Healthcare are delighted to announce that they are seeking applications for a Person in Charge (Social Care Leader) in Galway. This role is within a well established organisation which provides a wide range of high-quality community-based services for people with an intellectual disability throughout Galway City and County. These services include day, residential, short breaks/ respite, supported self-directed living (SSDL) programmes, community support, rehabilitative training, and multi-disciplinary supports.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Assistant Director of Operational Supports & Services. The PIC will ensure that the service is run in accordance to the organisations strategic plan to provide exceptional care for service users.

Role Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care.

A professional degree (minimum level 7) in Applied Social Studies or in Intellectual Disability, Psychiatric Nursing and a current registration with NMB.

A proven track record of managing a residential service which meets quality, regulatory/legislative requirements.

A proven track record of budget management.

Experience of report writing personal support plans, people, and roster management.

Full current driving license with access to your own vehicle.

Excellent working knowledge of legislative/regulatory requirements and responsibilities.
