Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is seeking a Person in Charge (PIC) to lead a residential and respite service in Tipperary Town, Ireland. The role focuses on guiding day-to-day operations, ensuring HIQA standards, and delivering person-centred care for adults with intellectual disabilities.

You will mentor staff, manage regulatory compliance, and work with multidisciplinary teams to optimise outcomes and independence for service users.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 8 Honours Degree in Social Care, Nursing, or related field
• At least 3 years' experience in intellectual disability services
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership or management role within healthcare
• Full, clean Irish driving licence
• Right to work in Ireland
• Management qualification (or currently working towards one)

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of Designated Centres, ensuring HIQA standards and Health Act 2007 compliance
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and continuous service improvement
• Ensure services meet regulatory, legal, and organisational requirements

• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and relevant regulations
• A full, clean Irish driving licence

• A recognised management qualification (or currently working towards one)
