Ability West in Galway City is recruiting for Person in Charge roles to lead residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities. Some roles may require nursing or social care backgrounds, with CORU or NMBI registration where applicable.

As PIC, you will oversee designated centres, manage budgets, supervise staff, ensure HIQA compliance, and build strong partnerships with families and the community.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years’ management/supervisory experience in health or social care.
• CORU or NMBI registration (or in process) depending on role.
• Proven ability to manage residential services to high quality standards.
• Experience with budgets, staffing, and reporting requirements.
• Strong skills in report writing, person-centered planning, and rosters.

Aufgaben

• Be responsible for the direction and running of the unit under Area Services Manager guidance.
• Provide a home-like atmosphere and ensure health, recreational and other needs are met.
• Establish relationships with individuals, families and the community with respect and equality.
• Oversee annual budgets and staffing, ensuring value for money and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate administration, rostering, medication management and staff development.
