Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cork, Ireland is seeking an early-career Performance Engineer for the Radar Engineering team. You will design and run load tests for Radar’s services, analyze results, and identify bottlenecks to keep the platform fast at scale.

You will collaborate with engineers across hardware and software teams and contribute to performance testing strategy. You’ll work in a distributed team across California, Texas, and Ireland, receiving mentorship and training in Apple’s development

Qualifications

• Solid programming or scripting skills in Java, Python, or similar language.

• Design, build, and run load, stress, and performance tests for Radar’s services.
• Analyze results, profile services, and identify bottlenecks.

• Contribute to capacity planning and performance test strategy.
• Follow and help improve the team’s engineering best practices.
