Apple, Inc. in Cork, Ireland is seeking an early-career Performance Engineer for the Radar Engineering team. You will design and execute load tests for Radar’s services across a distributed engineering landscape, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with software engineers to verify fixes.

You will help shape performance testing strategy, contribute to capacity planning, and bring new performance tools and technologies to scale Apple’s platform used by hardware and software teams worldwide.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Solid programming or scripting skills in Java, Python, or similar language.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and run load, stress, and performance tests for Radar’s services.
• Analyze results, profile services, and identify bottlenecks.
• Report findings clearly and work with engineers to verify fixes.
• Track performance trends across releases and flag regressions.
• Contribute to capacity planning and performance test strategy.
• Follow and help improve the team’s engineering best practices.
