Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer for Radar Engineering in Cork, Ireland. You will build tools and tests to raise the quality of Radar’s apps and platform, joining a distributed team across Ireland, California, Texas and beyond.

You will work with mentors, learn Apple's development practices, and own quality tooling progressively, contributing to test strategy and release readiness.

Qualifications

• Solid programming skills in Python, Java, Swift, or similar language.
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals and test design.
• Experience with version control (Git) and the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain automated tests for Radar's services and apps.
• Perform manual testing, verify user-reported issues, and execute exploratory testing.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, and verify fixes.
• Collaborate on test plans, release readiness, and quality best practices.
• Review features early for testability and help improve quality tooling.
