Job summary

Axiom Hospitality Limited is opening two brand-new hotels in Dublin in May 2027 and is recruiting an Assistant People & Culture Manager to support the people function across both properties. The role reports to the General Manager with dotted line to the Cluster People & Culture Manager, and will be central to building two hotel teams from the ground up.

You will lead pre-opening recruitment, onboarding, induction programmes, HR records management and payroll processes, while ensuring Marriott

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR role within a hotel or hospitality environment, ideally with a branded or Marriott property.
• Experience supporting high-volume recruitment and onboarding.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with confidence handling HR admin and payroll inputs.
• Working knowledge of employment law, ideally Irish employment law.
• Some exposure to employee relations cases, with discretion.
• A CIPD qualification (or equivalent), or currently working towards one.

Responsibilities

• Support the pre-opening recruitment campaign across two Dublin hotels.
• Coordinate onboarding, from contracts and right-to-work checks to first-day readiness.
• Deliver induction programmes aligned with Axiom’s values and Marriott’s brand standards.
• Maintain accurate colleague records, HR systems and documentation.
• Assist managers with employee relations matters and policy guidance.
• Track training and development, and support learning programmes.
• Support engagement, recognition and wellbeing initiatives.
• Process monthly payroll inputs for starters, leavers and changes.
• Be the friendly first point of contact for colleagues on people matters.
