What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a professional and experienced People and Culture Business Partner to be a strategic partner and change agent for Hilton Foods, building and delivering the people capability. Support people focused initiatives driving people strategies and transformation through data analysis and business partnering. Work closely with People & Culture Manager to drive and implement long term People & Culture strategy aligned with the business goals.
Key responsibilities as a People and Culture Business Partner will be to:
- Partner with Department Leaders to identify key needs and goals while monitoring People KPIs, feedback to People & Culture Manager and translate them into effective people strategies aligned with business goals.
- Maintaining delivery of short and medium term strategic initiatives.
- Collective and individual employee relations issues are managed effectively in accordance with our values and managing risks appropriately.
- Effectively plan and progress in building employee engagement and organisational culture.
- Coach and support line managers with grievances, disciplinary and restructurings.
- Provide regular updates to the People & Culture Manager on ER caseloads and trends.
- Review and update internal policies and communicate to stake holders and the wider business.
- Act as a Guardian of Policies and Procedure; and Employee Handbook.
- Ensure equality, inclusion and diversity is embedded in our business.
- Support and co-ordinate the provision of accurate data in respect to People Analytics.Utilise People Analytics to analyse trends and drive performance. Regular feedback to People & Culture Manager.
- Champion and ensure compliance as appropriate with people related ESG goals and requirements e.g. modern-day slavery.
- Supporting new and on-going People & Culture Projects as agreed
- Attendance at factory daily review meetings.
- Coordinate and deliver employee engagement activities - reward and recognition, employee forums, employee surveys, internal communication systems (internal app).
- Practitioner of continues improvement, reviewing internal processes and removing non-value added.
Required experience/expertise to succeed as a Planning Manager will include:
- CIPD level 5 qualified (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with UK Employment Law
- Experience of developing strategies and planning
- Experience and skilled at developing systems.
- Experience of dealing with a multiple of ER cases from day to day to complex.
- Strong influencing skills and relationship management at all levels internally and externally.
