Job summary

Hilton Food Group in Drogheda is seeking a People and Culture Business Partner to act as a strategic partner and change agent, driving people initiatives and transforming data into action. You will work closely with the People & Culture Manager to deliver long-term strategy, support managers with ER cases, and ensure inclusive, compliant practices across the site.

This on-site role offers growth, engagement activities, and the chance to shape the workforce in a fast-moving food processing

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with UK Employment Law.
• Experience in developing strategies and planning.
• Experience in developing systems.
• Experience handling ER cases from simple to complex.
• Strong influencing skills and relationship management.

Workinghours: Monday – Friday, Monday- Thursday: 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM, Friday: 8:00-3:30PM, 39 hours

We are looking for a professional andexperienced People andCulture Business Partner to be a strategicpartner and change agent for Hilton Foods, building and delivering the peoplecapability. Support people focused initiatives driving people strategies andtransformation through data analysis and business partnering. Work closely withPeople & Culture Manager to drive and implement long term People & Culture strategy aligned with the business goals.

Key responsibilities asa People and Culture Business partner will be to:

• Partner with Department Leaders to identify key needs and goals while monitoring People KPIs, feedback to People & Culture Manager and translate them into effective people strategies aligned with business goals.
• Maintaining delivery of short and medium term strategic initiatives.
• Collective and individual employee relations issues are managed effectively in accordance with our values and managing risks appropriately.
• Effectively plan and progress in building employee engagement and organisational culture.
• Coach and support line managers with grievances, disciplinary and restructurings.
• Provide regular updates to the People & Culture Manager on ER caseloads and trends.
• Review and update internal policies and communicate to stake holders and the wider business.
• Act as a Guardian of Policies and Procedure; and Employee Handbook.
• Ensure equality, inclusion and diversity is embedded in our business.
• Support and co-ordinate the provision of accurate data in respect to People Analytics.Utilise People Analytics to analyse trends and drive performance. Regular feedback to People & Culture Manager.
• Champion and ensure compliance as appropriate with people related ESG goals and requirements e.g. modern-day slavery.
• Supporting new and on-going People & Culture Projects as agreed
• Attendance at factory daily review meetings.
• Coordinate and deliver employee engagement activities - reward and recognition, employee forums, employee surveys, internal communication systems (internal app).
• Practitioner of continues improvement, reviewing internal processes and removing non-value added.

Requiredexperience/expertise to succeed as a Planning Manager will include:

• CIPD level 5 qualified (desirable)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with UK Employment Law
• Experience of developing strategies and planning
• Experience and skilled at developing systems.
• Experience of dealing with a multiple of ER cases from day to day to complex.
• Strong influencing skills and relationship management at all levels internally and externally.
