Description du poste

People Business Partner - Ireland, Germany and USA

Fixed Term - 12 Months

Location: Dublin | Contract: Fixed Term | Working across: Ireland, Germany and the USA

Our talented people are creating the technology of the future.

From scheduling to maintenance to keeping people safe, 2.7 million people are helped by our software daily. Technology makes it possible; people make it happen and you could be part of that.

The Tracsis Group has grown rapidly, diversifying into related transport technologies, and successfully executing a strategy that has seen it make a total of seventeen acquisitions.

Today Tracsis is a leading provider of software, hardware, data analytics/GIS and services for the rail, traffic data and wider transport industries. The Group has c.500 permanent employees serving its growing customer base from offices in the UK, Ireland, the US and Germany.

The Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded and people-focused People Business Partner to join our People team on a fixed-term basis.

This is a broad partnering role for someone who enjoys working closely with leaders, understanding what is happening within their teams and turning that into practical action. You’ll support stakeholders primarily in Ireland while also partnering with colleagues and leaders across Germany and the USA, giving you exposure to an international and evolving business.

As well as providing trusted advice across the employee lifecycle, you’ll play an important role in some of our key People priorities – particularly building skills and capability, strengthening manager effectiveness and helping us use AI in a practical and responsible way to improve how we work.

We’re not looking for someone who simply applies HR process. We want someone who can understand the business, ask good questions, challenge constructively and help leaders make better people decisions.

What you’ll be doing
  • Partnering with leaders and managers to understand their teams, priorities and people challenges.
  • Coaching leaders to build their confidence and capability in managing people effectively.
  • Supporting performance, development, progression and capability conversations.
  • Helping identify current and future skills gaps and translating these into meaningful development and capability priorities.
  • Supporting the delivery of initiatives that strengthen leadership, management and organisational capability.
  • Helping us explore how AI and emerging technology can simplify People activity, improve insight and build capability across the organisation, while ensuring it is used appropriately and responsibly.
  • Providing pragmatic advice on employee relations, policy and people risk across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Using people data, feedback and themes from across the business to identify issues, opportunities and areas requiring attention.
  • Supporting engagement activity and helping leaders turn feedback into meaningful action.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the People team to deliver joined-up, consistent support.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Ireland, Germany and the USA and working effectively across different cultures, teams and time zones.
What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have experience operating as a People Business Partner, HR Business Partner or strong People/HR Generalist within a growing or complex organisation.

More importantly, you’ll bring:
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
  • The confidence to coach and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of Irish employment law and employee relations.
  • Excellent employment law knowledge.
  • Strong judgement and the ability to balance employee experience, commercial needs and risk.
  • A genuine interest in skills, capability and how organisations prepare their people for changing ways of working.
  • Curiosity about AI and emerging technology, and how it can be used practically rather than simply for the sake of adopting new tools.
  • The ability to use data, insight and organisational themes to influence decisions.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfort working across an international organisation and collaborating with colleagues in different countries.
  • High levels of emotional intelligence, discretion and common sense.
  • We’re looking for someone curious, willing to work at pace and able to help leaders and teams think differently about how work gets done.
Our values

We’re guided by four core values that shape how we work and collaborate:

Progression – continually improving and developing
Integrity – doing the right thing, always
Collaboration – working together to achieve more
Ownership – taking responsibility and delivering with accountability
  • Flexible working hours to support work-life balance
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Life assurance (3x basic salary)
  • Enhanced Parental Leave
  • 2 volunteering days per year
  • Cycle to work scheme
Next Steps

Our Talent Acquisition team are committed to responding to all candidates within a reasonable timeframe.

Our process is designed for us to understand your skills and experience and to give you the opportunity to find out more about the role, as well as the company.

We are committed to building a diverse workforce. Even if you do not tick all the boxes, we would still love to hear from you! If you require any adjustments or additional support during the application and interview process do not hesitate to get in touch.
