Abbott Ireland is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for a diverse manufacturing workforce. You will ensure accurate and timely payments across hourly and salaried staff, maintain records, and support audits in a quality-driven environment.

Experience with SAP/Workday/SD Worx is preferred, along with NFQ Level 6 qualifications. The role is based in Clonmel, Ireland, with on-site duties and involvement in month-end processes and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• IPASS qualification or NFQ level 6 in a relevant discipline.
• 2+ years of related work experience in a payroll role.
• Experience with payroll software and regulatory compliance is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Process payroll transactions for hourly and salaried employees.
• Maintain employee records and respond to payroll-related queries.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
• Prepare payroll journals and post to general ledger.
• Assist with month-end close and payroll audits.
• Maintain payroll documentation for audit readiness.
• Collaborate with finance and HR to resolve issues.
