Job summary

Barden | B Corp is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join an established team supporting employees across Ireland and the UK. You will oversee payroll activity, calculate pay and deductions, manage pensions and benefits, and drive process improvements while ensuring data accuracy.

Ideal candidates have experience with Irish and UK payroll, strong numerical skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities. IPASS or CIPP qualification is desirable and European payroll knowledge is a plus.

The Opportunity

Barden is delighted to assist our client with an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join an established team supporting employees across Ireland and the UK. This role will cover a varied payroll remit, from calculating monthly pay to managing deductions, answering queries and helping improve existing processes.



  • Oversee payroll activity across both jurisdictions

  • Calculate pay, variable earnings, deductions and statutory entitlements

  • Manage pension and benefit-related changes

  • Investigate and resolve payroll queries

  • Produce payroll reports and complete relevant checks

  • Keep employee information and payroll records up to date

  • Assist with system and process enhancements


About You


  • Experience working with both Irish and UK payroll

  • IPASS or CIPP qualification desirable
