Payroll Specialist – UK & ROI Payroll – Growing International Organisation

Location
Duties
- Process weekly and monthly payrolls for employees across the UK and Republic of Ireland
- Support the end-to-end payroll cycle ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Input, validate, reconcile, and maintain payroll data
- Process salaries, overtime, bonuses, statutory payments, and deductions
- Assist with payroll reporting and payment file preparation
- Administer pension contributions and employee benefits
- Respond to payroll and benefits-related employee queries
- Maintain payroll records and employee data within payroll systems
- Support payroll audits and internal compliance checks
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, GDPR, and company policies
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and wider business teams to resolve payroll matters
- Contribute to payroll process improvements and system enhancements
- Support colleagues and share payroll knowledge within the team
Requirements & Desirable Experience
- IPASS, CIPP, or equivalent payroll qualification
- Previous experience processing UK and ROI payrolls
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience supporting payroll audits and compliance activities
- Knowledge of additional European payrolls would be advantageous
