Job summary

Artemis Human Capital is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations for a growing organisation where you will manage a talented team and ensure accurate payroll delivery to a diverse client base.

This is a collaborative, hybrid role offering genuine progression and a supportive environment, with opportunities to drive improvements, systems upgrades and automation across the payroll function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' end-to-end payroll experience.
• Experience working within a payroll bureau, outsourced payroll provider or professional services environment is highly desirable.
• Previous experience managing or supervising a payroll team.
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, PAYE, PRSI and Revenue requirements.
• IPASS qualification (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance and deadlines are met.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of payroll professionals.
• Act as the main escalation point for complex payroll queries.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and support audit processes.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and payroll process enhancements.
• Support payroll-related projects, including system implementations and upgrades.
• Maintain exceptional service standards while managing multiple priorities.

About You
