Job summary

Accountancy Solutions is recruiting for a Payroll & Finance Administrator in South Dublin for a healthcare client. The role centers on payroll while covering accounts receivable, accounts payable and general finance administration.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, numerically strong and comfortable working in a busy environment where accuracy and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' relevant accounts experience.
• Previous experience processing Irish payroll with a good understanding of Irish payroll legislation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and excellent numerical accuracy.
• Experience with Sage Micropay, Sage 50 or similar systems is desirable.
• Experience with Time & Attendance and/or procurement systems is an advantage.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Professional, reliable and proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process Irish payroll accurately and on time, including PAYE, PRSI, USC, pensions and BIK.
• Maintain employee records and validate timesheets, rosters, leave and absence records.
• Handle payroll queries and assist with payroll reconciliations and year-end processes.
• Manage billing, invoicing, funding claims, account reconciliations and credit control.
• Assist with accounts payable, purchase orders, invoice processing, supplier payments and reconciliations.
• Support month-end processes, financial reporting, audit preparation and general Finance administration.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Liaise with HR, managers, residents, families, suppliers and external stakeholders as required.
