Job summary

Accountancy Solutions in Ireland is seeking a payroll and accounts specialist to take full responsibility for payroll across several entities and support the Financial Controller with broader finance tasks.

You will own multiple payrolls, set up new employees on the attendance system, maintain attendance and holidays, manage expenses and month-end reporting, and handle payroll queries and postings along with AP and bank reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Experience of processing payroll within an SME environment.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Excel and finance/payroll software.
• Ability to prioritise and to work to deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for a number of payrolls within the organisation.
• Set up employees on time and attendance system.
• Maintain employee attendance records and holidays.
• Manage expenses and expense reporting to Revenue reconciliations.
• Month end reporting.
• Dealing with employees on payroll queries.
• Journal postings.
• Accounts payable.
• Bank account management.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Complete other tasks and administrative duties as requested.
• Involvement in year end.
