Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Dublin is seeking a Development Lead with techno-functional skills to build a Fraud Detection & Analytical Platform across Payments. You will lead a distributed team, design end-to-end payment flows, and ensure alignment with ISO 20022 and SWIFT formats.

The role combines deep engineering with payments expertise, requiring 10+ years in payments and 6+ years in techno-functional leadership. Hybrid work available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Payments Domain with deep payments development knowledge.
• At least 6+ years in techno-functional lead or lead analyst capacity.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems or finance technology.
• Strong payments knowledge including ACH, Wire, SWIFT and real-time payments; fraud/risk domain experience.
• Experience deploying ML models or analytical scoring engines in real-time production.

Responsibilities

• Lead techno-functional discussions and architect end-to-end payment flows for fraud detection.
• Drive development, mentoring, and technical direction of a distributed engineering team.
• Oversee agile execution, code/design reviews, and ensure security and performance standards.
• Coordinate integration with fraud risk scoring platforms and external networks.
