Job summary

The Panel seeks a PMO Programme Manager to lead delivery across critical payments initiatives with major third-party partners and internal teams. You will own end-to-end oversight, ensuring on-time delivery, scope compliance and regulatory standards in a fast-moving payments landscape.

You will combine PMO discipline with the confidence to steer senior stakeholders, managing dependencies and governance across multiple workstreams to maintain momentum and resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Proven Programme Manager or senior PMO experience in payments/fintech.
• Experience delivering large-scale programmes with third-party dependencies.
• Strong governance, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

About the Role:

We are looking for a PMO Programme Manager to lead the delivery of critical initiatives across the payments landscape, working alongside major third-party partners, processors and internal teams.

You will own the end-to-end oversight of programme delivery, making sure every party meets its commitments on time, within scope, and to the standards a regulated payments environment demands. This is a role for someone who combines strong PMO discipline with the confidence to steer senior stakeholders and keep momentum where dependencies are many and timelines are tight.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Drive and govern programme delivery across multiple workstreams and third parties
• Manage and track dependencies across external vendors, payment partners and internal teams
• Hold third parties accountable for agreed milestones, commitments and quality
• Identify, elevate and actively manage delays, risks and issues before they impact delivery
• Provide clear, structured reporting and insight to senior stakeholders and sponsors
• Establish and maintain robust governance, controls, and progress tracking across the programme

Requirements include:

• Proven Programme Manager or senior PMO experience, ideally within payments, fintech or financial services
• Track record of delivering large-scale, complex programmes with significant third-party dependencies
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the presence to push partners and vendors to deliver
• Highly organised, proactive and commercially aware
• Strong reporting and governance skills across tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Jira or similar
