Job summary

Red Chair Recruitment is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef for a hotel client in Co. Kerry. The role involves assisting the pastry section to deliver pastries and desserts for daily service and private functions, weddings, and conferences.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in 4*/5* hotels, a creative flair, strong teamwork, and excellent organisation and time management. Working hours are 2PM–10:30PM, five days on rotation, with accommodation possible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years pastry chef experience in 4* or 5* hotel environments essential.
• Creative flair with ability to design and develop pastry offerings.
• Ability to work within a team in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent organisation, communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pastry section to produce exceptional pastries and desserts for everyday service and private functions.
• Support the pastry team for weddings, conferences and events where required.

Red Chair Recruitment are currently accepting applications for an experienced Pastry Chef for one of our well established hotel clients based in Co. Kerry.

The main responsibilities for the Pastry Chef will be to assist the pastry section and team to produce exceptional pastries and desserts for the everyday service and for private functions, weddings and conferences.

Qualifications

• 3+ Years Pastry Chef experience in 4* or 5* hotel environments essential for this role
• Creative flair bringing new ideas and the ability to design and develop pastry offerings
• Ability to work within a team in a fast paced environment
• Excellent Organisation, Communication and Time Management skills
• Flexible attitude as working hours are 2PM – 10.30PM five days a week on rotation
• Pastry Chef who takes pride in their work with excellent attention to detail and presentation skills

• Competitive Hourly rate of between €18.00 – €20.00 Per Hour dependent on experience
