Job summary

The Hoxton in Dublin is opening its first hotel in Ireland, featuring 129 bedrooms, Cantina Valentina restaurant, and The Dig events space. We’re seeking kitchen team members who are passionate about fresh ingredients and high-quality dishes, with opportunities to learn across sections and work with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the kitchen team with the preparation and production of delicious, high-quality dishes.
  • Learn and develop your skills across different sections of the kitchen, working closely with our senior chefs.
  • Prepare ingredients to the required standard, including washing, peeling, chopping, portioning and basic cooking.
  • Follow recipes, preparation lists and instructions to ensure consistency across every dish.
  • Keep your section clean, organised and fully stocked throughout service.
  • Work as part of the team during busy services, communicating clearly and helping wherever you’re needed.
  • Ensure all food is stored, prepared and handled safely, following our food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  • Support with deliveries, stock rotation and maintaining a well-organised kitchen.
  • Minimise waste and make the most of our ingredients while maintaining the quality and integrity of our dishes.
  • Take pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen, paying attention to presentation, quality and consistency.
  • Be curious, ask questions and take every opportunity to learn from the chefs around you.
  • Follow all health, safety and food hygiene procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Bring energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to every shift.

The Hoxton has opened its very first hotel in Ireland in the beautiful capital city of Dublin. This coastal city is steeped in history, packed with green parks and brought to life through music, art and the best social eating and drinking. The Hoxton, Dublin is home to 129 bedrooms of varying sizes, a lobby bar & restaurant, a historic bar, Cantina Valentina, our large ground floor restaurant and The Dig - our unique meetings and events space..

Job Description

What you will do…
