Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere for guests to enjoy themselves.
• Ensure restaurant and bar areas comply with health and safety for each shift.
• Lead daily briefings for the restaurant and bar team.
• Coordinate and run the reservations system.
• Draft floor plans based on covers.
• Assist with F&B stock, ordering and stock counts.
• Support training for the F&B team.
• Handle cash and provide daily revenue reporting per SOPs.
• Oversee service on the floor and bar.
• Manage opening/closing of the restaurant securely.
• Collaborate with the culinary team on menus and product availability.

The Hoxton has opened its very first hotel in Ireland in the beautiful capital city of Dublin. This coastal city is steeped in history, packed with green parks and brought to life through music, art and the best social eating and drinking. The Hoxton, Dublin is home to 129 bedrooms of varying sizes, a lobby bar & restaurant, a historic bar, Cantina Valentina, our large ground floor restaurant and The Dig - our unique meetings and events space.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

• Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves.
• Ensure the restaurant/bar area are H&S compliant for each shift.
• Run the daily briefing for the restaurant & bar team.
• Coordinate and run the reservations system.
• Draft floor plan based on covers.
• Support with F&B stock; ordering and stock counts.
• Support with training for the F&B team.
• Cash handling and daily reporting of revenues as per hotel SOP’s.
• Responsible for the service on the floor and bar.
• Responsible for the safe opening and closing of the restaurant.
• Work with the culinary team on menus, service and product availability.
