Job summary

The Hoxton Dublin is seeking an experienced Floor Manager to lead a busy, high-volume restaurant and bar environment. You will guide the service team, ensure health and safety, and coordinate reservations and floor plans to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as floor manager or supervisor in a busy and high-volume restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves.
• Ensure the restaurant/bar area are H&S compliant for each shift.
• Run the daily briefing for the restaurant & bar team.
• Coordinate and run the reservations system.
• Draft floor plan based on covers.
• Support with F&B stock; ordering and stock counts.
• Support with training for the F&B team.
• Labour scheduling.
• Cash handling and daily reporting of revenues as per hotel SOPs.
• Responsible for the service on the floor and bar.
• Responsible for the safe opening and closing of the restaurant.
• Work with the culinary team on menus, service and product availability.

The Hoxton has opened its very first hotel in Ireland in the beautiful capital city of Dublin. This coastal city is steeped in history, packed with green parks and brought to life through music, art and the best social eating and drinking. The Hoxton, Dublin is home to 129 bedrooms of varying sizes, a lobby bar & restaurant, a historic bar, Cantina Valentina, our large ground floor restaurant and The Dig - our unique meetings and events space.

What you’ll do…
