Job summary

Specsavers Carlow is seeking an organised and proactive Operational Coordinator to support the smooth day-to-day running of our store. This role focuses on coordinating orders, stock and operational processes while delivering excellent customer service.

In a part-time capacity (Mon-Fri, 2-6), you will manage customer orders, liaise with suppliers, coordinate collections and ensure stock levels, displays and store operations are well organised.

Qualifications

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem solver with a positive, team-focused approach.
• Retail, operations, administration or customer service experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders and oversee delivery processes.
• Liaise with suppliers and follow up on outstanding orders and queries.
• Coordinate customer collection appointments and provide order updates.
• Maintain stock levels and organise store supplies and deliveries.
• Support product repairs and service requests.
• Ensure the store's displays and operational areas are well organised.
• Assist with local marketing and community engagement activities.
• Provide general operational and administrative support to the store team.
