Job summary

TJ O' Mahony in Limerick is seeking a reliable Part-Time Relief Lorry Driver to cover holidays and sickness for our delivery team. You will deliver building materials to customers and sites, load and unload, and complete basic delivery paperwork.

You must hold a full, valid C driving licence, be reliable and punctual, and able to communicate well with customers. Flexible part-time hours apply, mainly covering absences; staff discounts and parking are available.

Job Purpose: We are looking for a reliable and flexible part-time Lorry driver to provide holiday and sickness cover for our existing drivers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver building materials safely to customers and building sites.

Load and unload materials as required.

Complete delivery paperwork and carry out basic vehicle checks.

Maintain a professional and friendly service with customers.

Follow all health and safety and road traffic requirements.

Assist with general yard duties when required.

Requirements:

Full, valid C driving licence

Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred.

Reliable, punctual and flexible.

Good customer service and communication skills.

Able to safely handle building materials.

Hours

Part-time and flexible, primarily covering holidays, sickness and other driver's absences
