A family-owned construction firm in Ireland is seeking HGV Drivers to join their expanding team. This role includes making deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Candidates should have a current HGV CE licence, digital tachograph card, and CPC certification, along with a positive attitude and flexibility regarding work hours. Qualifications

• Candidates must have a valid HGV CE licence without endorsements.
• Experience with Low Loader trucks is preferred.
• Must exhibit a positive work attitude and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Transport Manager regarding deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform loading and unloading duties safely.
• Liaise politely with clients and customers.
• Check loads and dockets before departing.

Tusker Construction Group is based in Co. Monaghan. The Business is Family owned, and managed, with 30 years’ experience in all areas of the construction sector their success is a strong testament to the supporting divisions within the group such as Crane Hire, Plant Hire, Construction & Demolition, Steelworks, Haulage, and Waste Recycling.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a current, endorsement-free HGV CE licence, digital tachograph card and current CPC certification.
• Low Loader experience preferable
• A positive work attitude, with a high degree of commitment.
• Must be punctual and an excellent timekeeper.
• Must be flexible regarding work hours

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Transport Manager
• Compliance with legislation and company policies and procedures>
• Check your load, day sheets and dockets before leaving the premises daily.
• Make deliveries, collections, uplifts and returns as directed.
• Liaising with Clients/Customers in a polite and friendly manner
• Loading and unloading company vehicles safely
• Work as part of a team and working on own initiative
• Comply with all applicable safety laws, guidelines, and best practices
• Reporting of any issues immediately
• Maintain vehicle in a good and clean condition
• Report any defects immediately
• Adhere to safety requirements and complying with all Personal Protective Equipment requirements
• Perform other related duties as assigned
