Job summary

Donegal Centre for Independent Living CLG is seeking a Personal Assistant (PA) for our Leader in the Falcarragh/Cresslough area. Part-time hours with €16.69 per hour, plus benefits. Garda Vetting is required before starting. QQI Care Skills & Care of the Older Person qualifications are preferred; a full clean driving licence is also requested.

Typical duties include personal care, educational and workplace support, plus social and household assistance to enable the Leader to live independently.

Qualifications

• QQI modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person are preferred.
• Full, clean driving licence is required.
• Experience providing personal care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support to the Leader.
• Assist with educational, workplace, family and social tasks.
• Support the Leader in decision-making and independence.
• Assist with household tasks and arranged transport when needed.
