Job summary

Uniting Holding in Clondalkin, Dublin 22 is seeking a part-time Care Assistant to provide person-centred support for a woman with a disability. You will help with personal care, domestic tasks, companionship, and transportation, adapting to her needs with a flexible schedule and shifts on Tue and Sat.

The role requires a full, clean driver’s license, fluency in English, Garda vetting, and the right to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driver’s license and willingness to drive a manual accessible vehicle.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda vetting required.
• QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Community & Health Services or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to enable the member to live independently.
• Assist with personal care, domestic tasks, transportation and companionship.
• Support attendance at medical appointments, meetings and social events.
• Drive the member’s vehicle and accompany to activities as needed.
• Participate in mandatory training including manual handling and safeguarding.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organisational policies.
