Job summary

The Louis Fitzgerald Group is seeking a customer-focused staff member to deliver outstanding service in our hospitality outlets across Ireland. You will greet customers, advise on products, upsell where appropriate and ensure a warm, efficient visiting experience.

Midweek and weekend availability is required, with a neat, professional appearance and strict adherence to RSA age-check procedures. Previous experience in customer-facing roles and retail environments is desirable.

• Experience in customer-facing role.
• Experience in retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive the highest standard of service quickly, efficiently and courteously.
• Report customer feedback in line with company procedures, and handle politely and professionally.
• Greet customers, assist and engage with them, provide advice and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain a professional neat appearance.
• Keep service area clean and tidy at all times.
• Restock and replenish Off Licence inventory, merchandising and supplies.
• Be aware of products, promotions and prices, and know upcoming events.
• Perform age checks for customers appearing under 25 in line with RSA regulations.
• Follow home delivery procedures.
• Participate in performance and development reviews regularly.
• Manage time effectively.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Purpose of the Job

To contribute to the turnover and profitability of the Fitzgerald Group by ensuring all customers experience a satisfying visit and receive the highest standard of goods and customer service by being attentive, responsive and anticipate the customers’ needs while creating and maintaining customer friendly relationships.

About The Role

Duties & Responsibilities

• To ensure all customers receive the highest standard of service quickly, efficiently and courteously
• To ensure all customer feedback is reported in line with company procedures, and dealt with in a polite and professional manner
• Greeting customers, assisting and engaging with them, providing advice and upselling where appropriate
• Maintain a professional neat appearance
• Ensuring your service area is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Restocking and replenishment of Off Licence inventory, merchandising and supplies
• Awareness of products, promotions and prices, and being informed on upcoming events
• Professional and polite age checks for any customers appearing under the age of 25, in line with RSA regulations
• To ensure all home delivery procedures are been followed
• Participate and engage in performance and development reviews on a regular basis
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills with both cusotmers and colleagues
