Job summary

The Pennyhill, part of the Louis Fitzgerald Group, is seeking a Part-Time Offsales Assistant to join our busy team in Palmerstown, Ireland. You will deliver high standards of customer service, upsell where appropriate and assist with stock, merchandising and timely processing of off-licence orders.

Midweek and weekend availability is required. You will greet customers, handle payments, perform age checks for customers under 25 in line with RSA regulations and contribute to a positive,

• Keep service area clean and tidy at all times.
• Restock and replenish Off Licence inventory, merchandising and supplies.
• Be aware of products, promotions and prices, and upcoming events.
• Perform age checks for customers under 25 in line with RSA regulations.
• Follow home delivery procedures.
• Participate in performance and development reviews.
• Manage time effectively.

Purpose of the Job

To contribute to the turnover and profitability of the Fitzgerald Group by ensuring all customers experience a satisfying visit and receive the highest standard of goods and customer service by being attentive, responsive and anticipate the customers’ needs while creating and maintaining customer friendly relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities

• To ensure all customers receive the highest standard of service quickly, efficiently and courteously
• To ensure all customer feedback is reported in line with company procedures, and dealt with in a polite and professional manner
• Greeting customers, assisting and engaging with them, providing advice and upselling where appropriate
• Maintain a professional neat appearance
• Ensuring your service area is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Restocking and replenishment of Off Licence inventory, merchandising and supplies
• Awareness of products, promotions and prices, and being informed on upcoming events
• Professional and polite age checks for any customers appearing under the age of 25, in line with RSA regulations
• To ensure all home delivery procedures are been followed
• Participate and engage in performance and development reviews on a regular basis
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills with both cusotmers and colleagues
