Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa in Meath is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our hospitality team. The role works under the Executive Head Chef and supports high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a busy kitchen.

You will handle dishwashing, lifting, and general kitchen prep, with a requirement of at least 30 hours per week spread across weekdays and weekends. Prior kitchen experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a large kitchen is a bonus.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy periods.
• Flexibility to work a mix of weekday and weekend shifts.

Responsabilités

• Using an industrial dishwasher to clean crockery and cutlery
• Lifting and carrying loads
• Cleaning cooking equipment and utensils
• Cleaning inside walk-in fridges
• Cleaning walls and benches in the kitchen
• Maintaining a clean kitchen environment
• Emptying bins
• Be available for late night shifts
• Have a minimum availability of 30 hours per week for up to 5 shifts across 7 days
