Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Kitchen Porter in Ireland. The role involves assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness, and helping monitor food quality while upholding HACCP standards.

Shifts are casual, averaging 1–2 per week, with evenings and some weekend hours. Training is provided through the Dalata Academy to support career growth within the group.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen.
  • Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
  • Monitor food quality and maintain clean ware, cooking ware and utensils at all times.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times.
  • Work with the chef team to maintain HACCP standards.
