Job summary

Ballymascanlon Hotel and Golf Resort is seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our team at the four-star Ballymascanlon House estate. The role supports a busy kitchen by maintaining clean dishware, pots and glassware, and ensuring a clean kitchen environment throughout shifts.

The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen experience in hospitality, be flexible with hours including late shifts, and comply with hygiene and safety standards. On-site meals and staff benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Flexibility in working hours, including mornings/evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to work past 11pm throughout the week.
• Previous kitchen experience in hotels, restaurants or bars.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supply of clean dishes, glassware, cutlery and pots for all outlets.
• Wash dishes and glassware using the dish washing machine.
• Clean the dish washing machine at shift end and as required.
• Provide pots for all outlets and keep kitchenware organized.
• Wash pots and pans and return them to the proper place.
• Support kitchen staff by keeping areas clean and safe.
