Job summary

The Irish Wheelchair Association in Stamullen/Naul is seeking part-time Healthcare Assistants to support members in their homes and communities. Availability includes one evening per week and every Saturday (block hours), with pay rates between €16.52 and €18.39 per hour depending on experience.

This role offers mileage, sick pay, maternity/paternity pay, holiday pay, pension options, Bike to Work, employee assistance, and ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 major award in Community & Health Services or Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support.
• Experience in caring role; reliable and maintains confidentiality.
• Good spoken and written English; willing to drive service user’s vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Enable Members to achieve independence in daily living with personal care, domestic, social, educational, travel and companionship support.
• Deliver care in members' homes and communities.
• Liaise with Home carers and ALS Coordinator/Scheduling staff.
