Job summary

BrookLodge & Macreddin Village is seeking a part-time House-keeping Assistant to maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards.

Join our friendly team, deliver attentive service to guests, handle requests promptly, and follow health and safety practices. Weekend and bank holiday work is required. This role offers meals on duty and staff discounts, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or accommodation services is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as required.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Conducting deep cleans of rooms and hotel facilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards.
• Ensure all guest amenities and supplies are replenished as required.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail in inspecting rooms for maintenance or cleanliness issues.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Handle guest requests efficiently and courteously.
• Work collaboratively with the accommodation and housekeeping team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Report lost property and any room discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Assist in laundry duties as needed.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used properly and stored securely.
