Job summary

The Hodson Bay Hotel is seeking an Accommodation Assistant to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness across guest bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas, while supporting the accommodation department to deliver excellent guest service.

Candidates should be energetic, customer-focused and able to work well under pressure, with a team-oriented approach. This full-time position offers opportunities for training and development within a supportive hotel group.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel cleaning/housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Always maintain a professional image through appearance.
• Must be energetic, customer focused and should possess excellent communication skills.
• Should also have the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within the accommodation department
• To participate in Departmental training
• To work as part of the Accommodation Team
• Cleaning of guest bedrooms and bathrooms to an excellent standards
• Cleaning of public areas to an excellent standard
• Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
• Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis
• Manage all guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Making sure that all checklists are completed to an excellent standard
