School Food Company LTD in Wexford is seeking a hands-on Catering Assistant to help prepare fresh lunches in our school kitchens. This fixed term, part-time role runs 10–18 hours per week from 8:00am to 2:30pm, with duties in cooking from scratch, kitchen support, and delivering meals.

Garda Vetting and Child Protection Course are required; experience in catering or home cooking is an advantage, and willingness to move between schools within a 30-minute drive is requested.

The School Food Company prepares fresh, healthy lunches cooked daily in onsite school kitchens. We have been in operation since 2011. We are looking for a hands‑on Catering Assistant who enjoys preparing fresh food and working in a busy kitchen environment.

Location: Kennedy Park National School, Whitemill Road, White Mill South, Wexford

Hours: 10–18 hrs/week

Shift Time: Approx. 8:00am–2:30pm

About the Role

• Cooking from scratch: peeling, chopping, prepping, and cooking fresh ingredients (no raw meat handled)
• Supporting daily kitchen operations in a fast‑paced environment
• Delivering freshly cooked lunches to classrooms
